Welcome to the Broadlands Pre-School Committee section!

The Broadlands Pre-School Committee is a dedicated voluntary group comprised of parents whose children currently attend our setting, as well as parents of children who have previously enjoyed their time with us. We work collaboratively with the pre-school management and staff to ensure the smooth and successful operation of Broadlands Pre-School. Our shared goal is to provide the best possible environment for our children to learn, grow, and thrive.

Meet the Committee

Our enthusiastic and dedicated committee members for the current year are:

  • Gosia & Louisa - Joint Chairperson

  • Kat - Treasurer

  • Sophie - Secretary

  • Claire - General Committee Member

  • Andrew - General Committee Member

  • Imogen - General Committee Member

  • Rose - General Committee Member

As a committee, we operate in accordance with the Early Years Learning Alliance constitution. This important framework mandates that at least 40% of our committee members must be parents of children currently enrolled in the pre-school at the time of our Annual General Meeting (AGM). The remaining positions can be filled by parents of former pupils and individuals from local businesses or charitable organizations who share our commitment to early years education. Our dedicated Manager, Kelly Pritchard, and Deputy Manager, Katy, attend all committee meetings, providing valuable insights and contributing to discussions, although they do not have voting rights on certain agenda items.

Committee Responsibilities
